About

I am Paul Hahn, former chair of the Theology Department and professor emeritus at the University of St. Thomas, Houston. In addition to a BA and MA in English, I have an MA and PhD in theology (from Aquinas Institute of Theology and Marquette University, respectively). I have taught at 8 institutions of higher learning, including 3 seminaries, and have delivered almost 400 presentations at universities and churches. I have five children and ten grandchildren. I can be reached at paulhahn@theologyplus.com.

My primary interest in theology is scripture, but also Church history and systematics. I also taught world religions every semester for two decades. I have also studied history, economics, personal finance, and so on.

This website has these divisions:

  • Theology
    • scripture in general
    • Old Testament
    • New Testament
    • Church history
    • systematic theology
    • moral theology
    • world religions
  • Plus (Other Disciplines)
    • history
    • economics
    • personal finance
    • literature
    • current affairs

Within each subdivision, further subdivisions (when they appear) are in this order: books, monographs, outline books (collections of notes), essays, videos, and audios.

My own writings are public domain, and their thoughts are mine and not necessarily those of the University or anyone affiliated with it. Everything can be read online or downloaded. I hope you will find materials that interest you.

NB: Books, monographs, and outline books have tables of content; items in them are hyperlinks. Hover your cursor over an item, then hold down ctrl and tap your mouse or trackpad: you will be taken to that item.

For this website I consulted my good friend Jeff Crandall. He constructed the website and chose almost all of the artwork.
